AxleStack
SMS Consent Policy
This page explains how customers may choose to receive service-related SMS messages from businesses that use AxleStack.
How Customers Opt In
Customers may opt in to receive text messages from a business that uses AxleStack through a public customer-facing website form, hosted request form, booking form, or by giving clear verbal or written permission directly to the business.
For website and hosted forms, SMS consent is collected through a separate optional checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form, request service, book an appointment, request an estimate, or purchase services.
Customers can submit a request and receive service without agreeing to receive text messages.
Example Website Form Consent Checkbox
This SMS checkbox is optional, separate from Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance, and unchecked by default.
Example Verbal or In-Person Consent
“Can we text you appointment updates, estimate follow-ups, service updates, and a review link after the job is completed? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to purchase or receive service.”
Messages are sent only after the customer gives clear permission to receive service-related text messages.
Consent Records
When SMS consent is collected through an AxleStack-powered form, AxleStack may store the customer’s consent status, timestamp, source page URL, IP address, and the exact consent language shown at the time of opt-in.
If a customer does not check the SMS consent box, the customer may still submit the form. Automated SMS messages are not sent unless SMS consent has been provided.
Message Types
Messages may include appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, estimate follow-ups, service updates, customer follow-ups, customer support, and review requests after completed services.
AxleStack does not permit purchased lists, cold outreach, lead generation lists, or unsolicited bulk marketing messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the customer’s interaction with the business. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt Out
Customers can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, the customer may receive a confirmation message.
Help
For help, customers can reply HELP to a text message or contact the business that sent the message.
